Lesson Plans to Accompany Cultural Heritage Tour Guides

Northwest Heritage Resources has developed 7 educational lesson plans that correspond with our 9 cultural heritage tour guides to different regions of Washington state. The 9 different tour guides are as follows:

Tour No. 2 – Central Washington Heritage Corridor Tour: Leavenworth to Maryhill
Tour No. 3 – Southeastern Washington Heritage Corridor Tour: Richland to Clarkston
Tour No. 4 – Olympic Peninsula Loop, Heritage Corridor Tour
Tour No. 5 – Interstate 5 North Heritage Tour: Seattle to Blaine
Tour No. 6 – Interstate 5 South Heritage Tour: Seattle to Vancouver, WA
Tour No. 7 – Interstate 90 East Heritage Tour: Seattle to Spokane
Tour No. 8 – Cascade Loop Heritage Tour – South: Everett/Mukilteo to Wenatchee/Entiat
Tour No. 9 – Whidbey Island: Cascade Loop West
Tour No. 10 – Cascade Loop Heritage Tour – North: Anacortes via North Cascades Hwy to Chelan
[Tour No. 1 is out of print]

The lesson plans are designed such that each one can be used with any one of our nine (9) cultural heritage tour guides. Five of the lesson plans are appropriate for state social studies curriculum or Washington state history, culture and geography. They are:
